George and Charis Schwarz (AUS/SUI)

Bohemians. Artists. Riders. George and Charis travelled the world back in the 60’s on their trusty MW R50, taking turns at being pillion. 40 years and 240,000 km later, somehow they’ve never had an accident! (and let’s keep it that way!). They published the much loved book “Highlights of the Road” and donated all profits ($30,000) to enalbe the MARI (Motorcycle Accident Rehabilitation Initiative) at the Spinal Injuries Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.
