Stuart Ball (GB/AUS)

The founder of The Great Australian Ride (GAR). In 2011 Stuart rode his KTM990 motorcycle solo across Australia (6000km). A year later, Stuart decided to put a team together to do the same ride annually … and so the core team of 12 GAR riders was born. Every year the GAR team rides from east to west through the heart of Australia, including The Strzelecki, Sturt Stony, Simpson and Gibson Deserts to reach their goal: Steep Point, which is Australia’s western-most point. The GAR has been proudly supporting charity ‘SIDS and Kids’ and have raised $130,000 so far (Jan 2015).
